Elijah Kala McShane is a kanaka oiwi o Hawai’i (native descendant of the Hawaiian islands) and direct descendant of both Hawai’i/Maui & O’ahu chiefly lineages. Elijah, also known as Kahu Kala, is the co-founder (with his wife Jazmin Yong) of Awakened Aloha, an organization focused on “inspiring a world where aloha is the heartbeat of humanity.” Awakened Aloha’s work bridges ancient wisdom and ancestral connection to modern wellness through the mauli ola (healing arts), la’au lapa’au (plant medicine), aloha education, and community development. His work has inspired hearts in the educational, political, and spiritual sectors of modern Hawai’i to visioneer a future that promotes harmony for all people beginning with Hawai’i and her children. As an ambassador of aloha and messenger of lokahi, Elijah shares a universal message that lays at the foundation of all people and cultures, “aloha ‘aina, aloha akua, aloha kanaka” (a deep honor and reverence for the land, the spirits, and the people). J.R. MOORHEAD

J.R. Moorhead was born and raised on the windward side of Oahu. He is a product of public education and graduated from Kalaheo Highschool. J.R. graduated college in 2001 with a Business Marketing degree from Colorado State University. He met his wife Michelle in 2001 at a backyard Waimanalo party. They have been in love and together ever since. J.R. grew up playing on Kailua Beach, and can still be found there on the weekends with his family. Michelle and J.R. have an 11 year old little girl named Devin and a 5 year old boy named Hiro.

J.R. has been in construction most of his life. He was pouring concrete at 12 years old, jackhammering Pearl Harbor at 22, and was a skilled finish carpenter by 30. He now owns a successful award winning construction company that he built by himself.

J.R. was mentored by Marshall Thurber, who was mentored by Buckminster Fuller. Buckminster Fuller believes that we are all astronauts on spaceship Earth and that we need to work together in order to succeed in life. J.R. feels the need to carry the torch that was passed to him from Marshall Thurber and carry on Bucky’s dream.

J.R’s current heroes are Hale Makua and Pilahi Paki. He believes he is being guided by them from behind the scenes. It is them who he wants to make proud by creating Kuana’ike.

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Cambria spent many of her younger days at the beach or exploring her backyard canyon. Her love of nature bloomed into a degree and an eleven year career in Oceanography where she traveled the world’s oceans facilitating large scale research projects aboard world class vessels. She fell into the world of personal development and shortly thereafter met her husband and they had two wild and wonderful boys. Month long journeys at sea were no longer the preference with small children at home. Cambria quickly pivoted to life and business coaching in 2015, and has been advising, supporting and inspiring her clients ever since. Using lessons from nature and life, time-tested Personal Development Techniques, Universal Laws, Abundance Principles and a whole mountain of love, humor and care, she guides her clients to connect deeply with themselves and from there live lives of joy and fulfillment. Wife, mother, sailor, pilot, navigatrix, instigator of fun and adventure...Cambria finds that the joy is in the journey, and the journey as wonderful, messy, worthy and unique as each person on this earth!

Mark Tajiri throughout his 40 year career has been known as a master teacher, consultant, and personal advisor to corporations, organizations and thousands of individuals seeking life long personal success. His success philosophy offers a life of abundance, blissful relationships and extraordinary health and personal liberty.

1977 marked a huge change in his life when he met his mentor, Tom Whilhite, founder of PSI World Seminars. After taking the Basic he was encouraged to become a facilitator for Psi V Seminars. He chose to teach the seminar for 4 years with the organization.

He then chose to teach classes on his own and was hired by PSI Seminars to teach courses in the Philippines beginning in 1988. Those would be the most impactful years of his life, as he saw how the seminars were so valuable in reaching its goal of creating world peace, one mind at a time.

Mark’s life philosophy found him teaching corporate classes at the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry, The Philippine Department of Energy and students from several prominent corporations.

He was then hired by Johnson and Johnson Asia Pacific to help create a huge mission for 32 scientists from 8 Asain countries. Then Johnson & Johnson Board of Directors consulted with him to synchronize the different mission statements. His classes also took him to Johnson & Johnson Taiwan, and later to a public class in Shanghai, China.

He continues to live in Honolulu, Hawaii where he consults with individuals as well as informal classes on holistic life success.

Johnelle Madera, was born and raised on the island of Oahu and moved to Maui in 2003. In 2004 she married Bruce Conching. In 2007 Bruce created a seminar series called Ike Pono and incorporated his 30 years of experience in the personal growth field to design an unique seminar that focuses on discovering who you really are and implements the values of Aloha and Pono as key foundations.

In 2009 and Ike Pono Quest, LLC was created and until 2015 she traveled with Bruce and assisted in facilitation of Ike Pono, through out the United States, Japan and the Philippines. Her desire to help and empower individuals also lead her to create a parenting and communication workshop based on ALOHA. She has also contributed of her time to non profit organizations, with the key focus on being ALOHA as a way of life.

His father is a well known African beat drummer and revered poet in his hometown Tacoma Washington. Taking after his lineage as an artist, Rob Young is conscious rap marries commercial Hip Hop. A talented lyricist and songwriter, he has an exceptional ability to paint lyrical pictures and command attention with his energy. Rob Young has performed for audiences of up to 20,000 and has opened for Lupe Fiasco, Dip Set, Twista, Mistah F.A.B., Martin Luther, Fashawn, The Jacka and more. From our first breath to our last, we are creating, utilizing, and maintaining space. This principle has guided Michale during her 30 years of experience in integrative health. As a nurse who practices from a holistic and global perspective, she helped create one of the country’s first integrative tongue tie clinics over 10 years ago. Her passion for education led her to lecture and teach nationally and internationally on craniofacial growth and development and anticipatory growth guidance. As an educator, she has created training programs for health care practitioners as well as parents and teaches the energetics of healing. Michale mentors those who desire to do their own work, and are interested in healing the healer. She believes the future of healing is up to those practitioners who are re-creating wisdom systems that are essential to our survival and thriving as humans.

Trinette Kimberly U`ilani Furtado is a 5th generation (that sheʻs discovered so far!) Kanaka born and raised on `Ihikapalaumaewa (Mauinui). Mother to a daughter graduating from Ke Kula Kaiapuni o King Kekaulike High School this year, `ōlelo and noon Hawai`i have been integral and important parts of her life for many years.

A lā`au lapa`au student under 2 Kumu, a licensed wedding officiant, Kaulana Mahina lifetime student, Psychotherapist, Cultural Advisor, graphic artist, Tarot reader and small business owner, Trinette wears many hats and has a variety of interests that connect and deepen her understanding of what it means to be Kanaka in an ever-changing world.
